Free Showing of Dear Governor Hickenlooper

The event will feature well-known local and regional musicians playing before the 68 minute DGH film for approximately 45 minutes, then show the movie. The subsequent Q&A panel discussion would last for about 20-30 minutes and other musicians would play afterwards with dancing and general merriment until closing time. Also present will be volunteers from various environmental and anti-fracking non-profit, grass roots organizations who will be gathering signatures for the ballot initatives, as well as t-shirt sales for Fractivist, tabling by Frack Free Colorado and other supporting organizations.

Citizen Power Training With Special Guest Great March for Climate

Clean Energy Action is bringing together Denver community members, students and the Great March for Climate Change Action to use our momentum for climate action to demand energy policy improvements from our state legislators. This two-hour training will teach attendees the steps to setting up meetings with their state legislators, give participants the opportunity to organize groups for future visits, and allow participants to sign up for legislative visits on the spot.

Great March for Climate Action Rallies Through Colorado

In the spirit of the civil rights marches in the sixties, the Climate March is a non-profit mobile community of climate-concerned volunteers who are marching from Los Angeles to Washington DC in 2014 to raise awareness for the urgent need to act on climate change and will be marching through Colorado during the month of June. Among other activities, we will be holding a rally in Colorado Springs (June 10th) and Denver (June 16th)!
